I directly supervise one graduate student and a 20-person student staff team of academic peer mentors and two graduate assistants. My role involves directing and aligning 13 major residential living-learning communities to create a high-impact co-curricular experience for students. I examine annual trends and engage in planning to further departmental and university goals. Collaboration with associated faculty and community stakeholders is also a significant part of my job, as I work on on-campus student programming initiatives. I am responsible for aligning an annual budget and providing guidance for departmental spending practices, informed by departmental assessment initiatives, student needs, and co-curricular learning outcomes. I also serve on the residential duty and crisis response team for housing and residence life, and assist in departmental recruitment and hiring of professional and paraprofessional staff. Overall, I am a dedicated and knowledgeable individual with extensive experience in student affairs and higher education administration.
