Film Photography
Film is a new thing, and really, I do not know what I am doing. Compared to digital photography, I am used to taking 10x the number of pictures I end up using, but that is not an option with film. I have a few hand-me-down cameras and may end up with more. I enjoy having a 35mm and a Medium Format to choose from as I test the waters.

Yashica A TLR (my first roll shot can be found here)
Big shout out to Aku, my dog, who is the most reliable model for trying out new things.
Even more recently, as of June 2024, I have jumped into developing my film. I think it is helping me to become more in tune with what is happening as I take a photo.
The first-ever was a B/W roll of Lomography Potsdam 100 developed with an Ilford mono bath
Then, simultaneously, a roll of Film Photography Project 125 and a roll of Lomography Metropolis 100-400 with a CineStill Duo C-41 kit
I still have much room to grow with home developing and scanning with the Espon V600 scanner that I picked up as part of the kit, but it adds a whole new layer to the hobby.

I really love this one from the Renaissance Fair on LomoChrome Purple, on my Decora ii. Really captures the whimsy I was going for.

So Cute.

There is something strange about the Yashica GSN; when light hits an angle, it flares something fierce. Kodak Ultra 400.
